The 270 ateliers are split between two main buildings: 120 are in House 22, with 4 floors and 16,000 square meters, and the other 150 are in House 20, with 7 floors and 8,000 square meters. The Intelligence Department Studios are, therefore, one of the largest artist studio complexes to be found in Berlin today. With work spaces ranging between 18 and 150 square meters, the ateliers all have high ceilings, a sink, and are centrally heated.
